It is so important to protect our threatened ancient sites. These sacred sites are not only important to the Tribes connected to the areas, but are also important to the cultures and history of this nation. These sacred sites are being washed away, along with the ancient history of the first peoples of this land. Much is written and held in great esteem about the United States of North America and its “founding fathers”. We also need to remember and preserve the sacred sites and history of the ancient civilizations who lived on this continent as its ‘first citizens’, to simplify “The First Americans”. We, descendants of these “first peoples”, are looking for help, ways and means to protect these ancient sites in our communities, before they are gone and lost forever.
